“Anything is Popsicle” is the brainchild of Fish McGill. It’s a cheeky pun on Kevin Garnett’s proclamation in 2008 that “anything is possible.” Three four-sided kiosks display kinetic typography whose content is remotely controlled via a custom-built web interface.
Fish, Nathan Wilson, and I built and installed “Anything is Popsicle.” This piece was installed in downtown Boston as part of Illuminus 2017, an urban interactive public art festival. It was subsequently installed at Emmanuel College in spring 2018.
Note: this project was repurposed from the fleshy carcass of HueMenorah.
